Nora Heysen - Still Life, 1933

Still Life

They dined on mince, and slices of quince,
Which they ate with a runcible spoon;
And hand in hand, on the edge of the sand,
They danced by the light of the moon,
The moon,
The moon,
They danced by the light of the moon.

  1. So beautiful. I found your site while I was researching for Nora Heysen for my still life blog Feasting on Art where I turn art into recipes. Your blog will be a wonderful resource!
