"We Taste Only Sacredness"

What I need to hear today:

What is Sufism?

"The feeling of joy when sudden disappointment comes."

"Don't grieve for what doesn't come.
Some things that don't happen
keep disasters from happening."

~ Rumi

and, also Rumi:

"Something opens our wings. Something
makes boredom and hurt disappear.
Someone fills the cup in front of us.
We taste only sacredness."

I took so many pictures of our stone bowl, and various petals this afternoon after a spot of disappointment in the form of a phone call.  Blessings everywhere, right? Next I think a little Debussy is in order and a long scribble in the journal.
