Odd Angles

A running post this morning, a poem, some light, some candy.

I found this poem by Lisel Mueller this morning under recently added on The Poetry Foundation.  It begins:

Sometimes, when the light strikes at odd angles
and pulls you back into childhood...

And I think it's often the way light hits something, an object, a dish of candies, that sends us back to childhood.  We think the object is the trigger, but perhaps it's really the light...
