An extra little post, as it's spring break, and somehow I found myself with an extra couple of hours to read poems and fiddle with photos. I came across the Daniel Ladinsky translation of a Rumi poem that I thought my readers might enjoy:
THINGS ARE SUCH
Things are such, that someone lifting a cup,
or watching the rain, petting a dog,
or singing, just singing - could be doing as
much for the universe as anyone.
It's just what I needed to hear today, and maybe you needed it too.
